Losses among the civilian population in Ukraine as of 8:00 on March 13

As of 8:00 a.m. March 13, 142 civilians were killed in the past 24 hours (taking into account victims found in Bucha and Kherson from previous days of war), including 7 children, 16 were wounded, including 2 children.

Official information indicates that there are 2 prisoners of war.

Prisoners:

Russian troops captured the mayor of Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, who did not agree to collaborate with the invaders.

Russian aggressors captured Oleksiy Danchenko, an employee of the State Emergency Service, who was helping to evacuate civilians from Hostomel.

Civilian casualties in different cities of Ukraine:

Bucha (Kyiv region) – since the beginning of the Russian invasion, the official number of civilian casualties in the city is unknown. The city was almost completely destroyed by Russian troops. For a long time, the invaders did not allow humanitarian corridors to evacuate civilians. On March 12, it became known that 67 dead were buried in a mass grave in Bucha.

Kherson – local authorities still have not calculated the number of the locals who died during the seizure of the city. As of March 13, it was possible to establish that at least 36 civilians, including one child, were killed on March 1-2. The information is being clarified.

Mykolaiv – 8 civilians were wounded as a result of airstrikes and artillery fire. The shelling targeted residential buildings and social infrastructure. 167 houses were destroyed. A hospital and 11 schools and kindergartens were damaged.

Mariupol – 6 civilians were killed, including 2 children, as a result of the shelling. Two more children are in a serious condition. Information about the victims is being updated. At the time of the Russian airstrike, all the victims were outside, cooking food on the fire in front of the house. The children were near the adults.

Kharkiv – 1 elderly woman died as a result of the shelling of a high-rise apartment building.

Kharkiv region – Russian troops shelled a car carrying civilians. 1 person was killed and 1 wounded.

Novy Korotych (Kharkiv region) – 1 person died as a result of artillery fire.

Kreminna (Luhansk region) – 1 person killed and 2 wounded as a result of Russian troops shelling a residential building.

Brovarsky district (Kyiv region) – 2 people (mother and child) died during the evacuation.

Peremoha village (Kyiv region) – Russian soldiers shot at a convoy of locals who were trying to evacuate without an agreed humanitarian corridor. The aggressors opened fire on the civilians (mostly women and children). As a result, seven people were killed, including one child. The information is being clarified.

Zaporizhzhia region – a Russian tank ran over a civilian vehicle that had stopped on the roadside. As a result of the brutal tragedy, 3 people died on the spot (a father and his 2 sons).

Sviatohirsk (Donetsk Oblast) – several people in Sviatohirsk Lavra were injured as a result of the airstrike. A total of 520 refugees, including 200 children, sought refuge at the Lavra.

Sloviansk (Donetsk region) – Russian military fired on an evacuation train, killing 1 person and injuring 1 (both women).

Severodonetsk – 1 person was killed and 1 wounded, as a result of artillery shelling.

Bashtanka (Mykolaiv region) – 1 person killed, 2 wounded as a result of artillery fire.

Kramatorsk (Donetsk region) – 1 person was killed and 1 wounded as a result of artillery shelling of the city by Russian aggressors.

Losynivka (Chernihiv region) – Russian soldiers shot dead one person, a local veterinarian, who was on his way to work in his own car in the morning.

Sumy region – Russian military opened fire on a private car killing 3 people – a family with an infant.
