On the morning of April 8, the Russian military launched two air missile strikes (Tochka-U) on the railway station in the town of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). According to preliminary information, 52 people died, including 5 children. 109 people were injured. At the moment, about 4,000 civilians were at the station waiting for the evacuation train. During recent days, local authorities have been trying to evacuate as many people as possible, because as expected Russia will launch a new large-scale offensive against Donbas. Cruelty and violation of all laws and customs of war by the Russian army force civilians to leave their homes and flee. However, the Russian regime does not leave civilians any right to survive.
In Makariv, Kyiv region, the Russian troops killed at least 132 civilians during the Russian occupation.
As of 8:00 a.m. on April 9, 2022, during the last 24 hours, 238 civilians had been killed due to the Russian invasion, 6 children are among them. Including 52 killed civilians at the railway station in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region), 132 were killed by the Russian military in Makariv (Kyiv region) and also 30 died persons were found under the rubbles in Bucha (excluding all victims in Mariupol, Volnovakha, Luhansk, Kherson, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions). 142 people were injured,1 child is among them. 2 civilians were captured, and approximately 200 civilians were kidnapped by the Russian troops, they are mostly journalists, local government officials of the occupied settlements and the Ukrainian activists, teachers as well.
Children:
As of April 8, due to the Russian full-scale aggression against the population of Ukraine, 169 children were killed and 306 were wounded, according to the data of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
Two civilians were captured by the Russian troops in the occupied settlements:
1. In the Kharkiv region the Russian military kidnapped Mykola Sikalenko – a head of the Tsyrkunivska territorial community.
2. In the Kharkiv region the Russian military captured Olexandr Shmyhol – a head of the Olkhivska territorial community.
Losses of civilians in different regions and settlements of Ukraine:
Kyiv region: 162 civilians were killed.
Makariv (Kyiv region) – according to preliminary information, during the occupation of Makarov, the Russian military killed 132 civilians.
Bucha (Kyiv region) – 30 civilians killed during the Russian occupation of the town were found under the rubbles of two residential houses.
Donetsk region: 59 people died, including 5 children. Wounded – 116.
Kramatorsk – due to the Russian army’s air missile attack on the railway station, 52 people were killed, including 5 children, and 109 were injured. At the moment, thousands of people were at the station, because the local population of the Donetsk region was being evacuated.
Avdiivka – 5 residents died in the shelling of residential houses, including the family of 4 people. Two civilians were injured.
Mariupol – 1 person was killed and 3 were injured.
Krasnohorivka – 1 person was injured.
Buhledar – due to the shelling by the Russian troops, 1 person was killed and 1 person was injured.
Luhansk region: 2 people were killed and 7 civilians were injured.
Severodonetsk (Luhansk region) – Serhiy Hanzha – a professor of the Dahl University was killed.
Zolote (Luhansk region) – at least 5 civilians were injured.
Lysychansk (Luhansk region) – 1 person died
Kreminna, Popasna (Luhansk region) – 2 civilians were injured.
Mykolaiv region: in the Russian shelling 12 civilians were wounded, 1 child was among them.
Sumy region: 2 people were killed and 3 were injured.
Sobycheve (Sumy region) – despite the withdrawal of its troops from the Sumy region, the Russian military shelled the village again on April 8. As a result, 1 person was injured.
Bilka (Sumy region) – a car “Sumyoblenergo” exploded on a mine, 1 worker was killed, 2 were injured.
Boyaro-Lezhachi (Sumy region) – a shot dead man with numerous gunshot wounds was found.
Kharkiv region: 3 people died, including 1 child. Wounded – 2.
Derhachi (Kharkiv region) – a group of electricity network repairmen exploded on a mine. 2 workers were injured.
Husarivka (Kharkiv region) – the Russian military tortured and then burned 3 civilians, including one child.
Chernihiv region: 10 people were killed and 2 were injured.
Yahidne (Chernihiv region) – it has become known that during the Russian occupation, locals were hiding in the basement. There were about 300 people aged from 3 months to 93 years. The Russian military was allowed to leave the basement only once a day. Due to their stuffiness, 10 people died. Two people were injured at the graveyard while burying the dead civilians.
